Fantastic shoot with BMW! Ended up getting 4 days on set with this commercial which is a small movie being shot as a commercial. Everything shot on 35mm film, and then re-shot again using Jame’s Cameron’s Avatar 3D camera from Panavision. Super experience.
2 days in Merritt BC shooting a sequence with a Russian arm attached to another car chasing our BMW. The sequence I am in the passenger seat, we pass by bikers, the camera rotates and an astronaut is driving and we veer onto the moon.
Next on the shores outside of Squamish where New Moon was filmed, the car pulls up and I’m in a space suite roasting marshmallows by the fire.
Day 4 downtown Vancouver for Carnival! Dancers, party goers. Fantastic little shoot. German directors, Austrian cinematographer.
